Key Responsibilities:

During your apprenticeship you will learn to:

  • Work as part of the technology team, to manage and maintain current systems.
  • Provide 2nd line support to EV Cargo customers.
  • Respond to, rectify, and resolve incidents within specified Service Level Agreement targets and escalate if needed.
  • Fulfil customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To assist and support in diagnosis and resolution of application support incidents and problems in a range of client critical software applications and find the more appropriate resolution.
  • Deployment of application enhancements.
  • Test software components.
  • Provide configuration assistance to customers and partners building solutions.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with all key stakeholders across the business.
  • Support and maintain existing applications in line with strategy and ensure they run to maximum efficiency.
  • Systems management and the monitoring of back-office server processes.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths gained prior or during the apprenticeship where appropriate.
  • Experience. Successful candidates will show an interest in the technology/logistics industries. Candidates will be computer literate with experience in Microsoft packages. Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Communication. Have excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Planning & Organisation. Have excellent problem solving skills, high attention to detail and a keen emphasis on accuracy.
  • Influence & Persuasion. Demonstrate a motivated attitude towards achieving commitments. Ability to work to deadlines, along with the flexibility to manage changing priorities and the ability to multi-task. Ability to sustain high level of performance under pressure and remain focussed. Ability to self-motivate, self-manage and work both autonomously and as part of a team.
