Description of Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and well organised individual.

You will develop your skills and abilities and gain valuable experience. Alongside this you will be offered the opportunity to undertake a Level 3 apprenticeship program in International Freight Forwarding.

A day in the life of an apprentice:

  • Respond to incoming emails and enquiries from internal colleagues and external customers
  • Provide day to day administrative support to the team including scanning, filing, and photocopying
  • Update and accurately input data onto our company systems.
  • Process and log our insurance claims
  • With full training you will learn to:
    o Conduct reports and investigative audits of our internal systems
    o Present data in graphical formats
    o Use our reporting software effectively
    o Investigate discrepancies
    o Assign and log non-conformance reports
    o Create and accurately analyse reports
    o Demonstrate the ability to discuss audit findings.

What you will bring:

  • Be forward thinking and keen to learn and understand regulations
  • Self-motivated and be able to organise your own workload
  • Work collaboratively and build positive and constructive business relationships
  • Have great communication skills with a passion for working with people and the ability to quickly build and sustain strong relationships
  • Good planning, organisation and administration skills when using our systems.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team have excellent attention to detail
  • Great IT skills

You will also need:

GCSE English and Maths Level 4 or above – this is desirable but not essential
