The role:

Join us as our Business Finance Partner on a 12-month maternity cover.

In this role you will be the key business partner to the Tech CEO and the Sales Leadership Teams, you will have strong financial planning, analysis, reporting and performance management skills to ensure the Business and its Leadership can make and deliver on its commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, implementation, and execution of effective decision support techniques & tools to ensure the business maximises business opportunities and mitigates risks going forward.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Tech finance team onshore and offshore to ensure finance function is organised and efficient.
  • Drive commercial agenda across the business division, building strong relationships with the Market Leadership Team and Sales channels, providing insight and influence to deliver Business goals.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the Business Finance group including all operational activities and reporting; Variance analysis, business modelling, partner profitability, control, pricing responsibility, bid processing, sales pipeline monitoring and all FPA planning.
  • Develop business finance partnering analytics, tools and techniques to meet the needs of the business and its respective stakeholders. These new processes and tools need to allow rapid and accurate business performance analysis to ensure high quality decision support for business & sales leadership.
  • Identify business opportunities, supporting new product development, reviewing pricing strategies and attending senior customer negotiations.
  • Ensure timely submissions of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, forecasting and budgeting requirements in line with corporate requirements.
  • Provide strategic insight and analysis into the Sales commissionable forecasts to anticipate risks and opportunities in the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure that sales pipeline contracts are structured optimally for revenue recognition accounting purposes and profit-sharing models.
  • Maintain a robust financial control environment & ensure regulatory compliance in local markets.
  • Identification, tracking and evaluation of customer data Business Insight tools.
  • Provide guidance and influence to improve wider operating performance of the sales channels.

What are we looking for:

Education to degree level and qualified in ACA/ACCA or CIMA Accountant
Strong financial controls experience and have excellent analytical, numeric reasoning, problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Proven experience of producing reports
Knowledge of IFRS and corporate business legislation
Be able to build, manage and motivate a small onshore & offshore team
Have experience of working with senior local market leaders
Good communication skills and ability to influence a range of stakeholders across the organisation
Expert excel user with excellent data manipulation skills
Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and/or remotely
Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively and meet deadlines
Knowledge of IFRS and corporate business legislation
