Introducing Clyde Buntrock

Clyde Buntrock was appointed chief executive officer of EV Cargo Global Forwarding in 2019 and is responsible for all aspects of the division’s success in managing the transport of freight across many international markets. His tenure has seen significant growth in all key financial metrics across all global entities, and he has successfully run multiple parallel, strategic and organisational change projects to structure the business for further and continued growth.

Clyde Buntrock's Experience

After reading psychology at university, Mr Buntrock joined what was then Tibbet & Britten – now part of DHL – as a management graduate. From there he joined GKN, working on large grocery retail contracts and then into a technology based role with global manufacturing business Interface. His first move into international supply chain came when he joined P&O Nedlloyd Logistics in 2003. In 2006 he joined Allport Cargo Services, where he became CEO prior to the company rebranding to EV Cargo Global Forwarding. Mr Buntrock, who is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, is a qualified rugby union coach. A father of four boys, he is also a keen fundraiser, helping to raise more than £20,000 for Children with Cancer through sponsored events.
