EV Cargo, the leading global freight forwarding, supply chain and technology company, has appointed Dorothy Zhang as Managing Director, Global Forwarding, Central & Northern China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of EV Cargo\u2019s strengthened leadership team in the region, she will lead the company\u2019s commitment to developing its expanded business in China, a market which plays a major role in EV Cargo\u2019s operations and is one of its largest sourcing origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms Zhang, an experienced senior executive with 26 years of international logistics knowledge, will develop EV Cargo\u2019s operations in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms Zhang joins EV Cargo from CEVA, where she was Managing Director of Central and North China for five years. Her role involved the enhancement of operational KPIs, customer retention and operational excellence within then region, managing a large team across 11 offices and with responsibility for freight transport, finance and human resource functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to CEVA, Ms Zhang worked at Toll Global Forwarding, holding senior leadership positions with a focus on elevating business performance, profit optimisation and operational team set up. Her appointment is the company\u2019s latest move to deliver its growth strategy in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EV Cargo \u2013 which manages supply chains for the world\u2019s leading brands \u2013 aims to surpass $3bn of revenue by 2025 through organic growth and strategic M&A activities.
