EV Cargo, the leading global freight forwarding, supply chain and technology company, has appointed Ricky Yip as Finance Director, Global Forwarding, Hong Kong & South China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The appointment comes as part of the company\u2019s continued investment in both its financial and operational teams in Asia, and Ricky will be responsible for the finance and accounting functions across Hong Kong and South China. He will be based in EV Cargo\u2019s headquarters in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He joins EV Cargo after a 16-year tenure at global logistics firm Kuehne & Nagel, where he held a number of management positions, responsible for financial reporting, taxation, statutory reporting, procurement and administration and was involved in the strategic development and creation of the company\u2019s Shared Service Centre in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to that he was Financial Controller at a listed electronics company, leading a team in multiple global locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ricky began his career as an external auditor in KPMG specialising in the transportation and manufacturing sectors. During his six-year tenure at the professional firm, he also worked on various IPO, M&A and restructuring projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EV Cargo, which manages supply chains for the world\u2019s leading brands, is focused on delivering its business growth strategy, which will see revenue exceed $3bn by 2025 through organic growth and strategic M&A activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
