{"id":149888,"date":"2023-06-22T09:25:14","date_gmt":"2023-06-22T08:25:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evc.extramilecommunications.dev\/?p=149888"},"modified":"2024-07-02T15:07:21","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T14:07:21","slug":"dubai-warehouse-opening-sees-ev-cargo-expansion-continue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.evcargo.com\/en\/dubai-warehouse-opening-sees-ev-cargo-expansion-continue\/","title":{"rendered":"Dubai Warehouse Opening Sees EV Cargo Expansion Continue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>EV Cargo has opened a new, strategically located warehouse in Dubai, one of its four global hubs, as expansion across the Middle East and Asia continues at pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new facility is ideally located to facilitate global trade within the vibrant Jebel Ali Freezone Authority (JAFZA), which is home to nearly 10,000 registered companies providing a range of commercial opportunities for EV Cargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivering air and sea freight services alongside customs import and export and domestic road distribution, the facility is adjacent to the main port at Jebel Ali and close to both of Dubai\u2019s busy international airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to handling substantial tonnages of general cargo, it is also one of EV Cargo\u2019s primary hubs for handling the popular Eco-Air service where premium shipments from Asia arrive by sea freight for onward movement to the UK and Europe by air freight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a thermally insulated structure and a range of state-of-the-art features, the warehouse provides high-quality storage solutions, with customers benefitting from its freezone location and the associated exemption of customs duty and VAT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew Granger, EV Cargo VP, Middle East, said: \u201cThe new Dubai warehouse will help facilitate EV Cargo\u2019s continued expansion across the Middle East, as part of its wider business growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur expanded presence and capability in the region ensures we offer the highest quality freight transport and supply chain services, all powered by EV Cargo people and systems.
