Global logistics execution and supply chain services platform EV Cargo has received two prestigious awards for its commitment to workplace safety during 2023, after seeing a 37% reduction in accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EV Cargo has won a RoSPA Gold award for occupational safety, improving on the silver accolade it received last year, demonstrating its dedication to ensuring its staff, customers, clients and contractors get home safely at the end of every working day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also collected an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The double success is recognition of EV Cargo\u2019s continuing efforts to promote and maintain a culture of safety across its international workforce, underpinned by its safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) strategy, which has seen regular safety conferences, meetings and tours for staff and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enhanced safety training is designed to prevent accidents, improve reporting and promote the wellbeing of staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2023 EV Cargo achieved a 30% reduction in RIDDORs (Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences) and a 37% fall in lost-time accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
