Palletforce<\/a> sponsored the prestigious Scottish Sourcing (Multiple) award at this year\u2019s event, which took place on May 23 at the Edinburgh Corn\u00a0Exchange.<\/p>\nKnown as the food and drink \u201cOscars\u201d, the Awards recognise businesses and individuals who are leading the way with innovation, enterprise and quality in Scotland\u2019s thriving food and drink\u00a0industry.<\/p>\n
The Scottish Sourcing (Multiple) award is open to all large-scale retail, wholesale or food service businesses who place Scottish sourcing at the heart of their consumer experience and proudly promote Scottish\u00a0provenance.<\/p>\n
It was the first year that Palletforce has sponsored the award, having sponsored the Brand Success category for the last four\u00a0years.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s winners were supermarket giant Aldi, who are also celebrating 25 years since they opened their first store in Scotland and 10 years since they created a dedicated Scottish Buying\u00a0Department.<\/p>\n
