Travel, transport and driving have been life-long multimodal passions for Palletforce\u2019s head of logistics.<\/p>\n
His love of sailing has seen him compete in both the Tall Ships Race and the Round the Island race, where 1,500+ yachts race around the Isle of Wight.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s quite a sight,\u201d said Andrew, who has been with Palletforce for two-and-a-half years. \u201cWe did it in just over nine hours.<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving qualified with the Royal Yachting Association to Yachtmaster level, my wife and I now own a motor cruiser that we have named YOLO, as you do only live once, and spend most weekends on the Norfolk Broads or North Sea and English Channel coastlines.\u201d<\/p>\n
And he doesn\u2019t just gain inspiration from sailing or driving \u2013 his national management roles see him covering more than 60,000 miles a year and he holds a class 1 HGV licence, which he has used to gain experience with several companies \u2013 he can take to the skies too.<\/p>\n
