{"id":98100,"date":"2021-05-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-24T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evc.extramilecommunications.dev\/litter-pick-part-of-community-charity-support\/"},"modified":"2024-07-02T15:09:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T14:09:54","slug":"litter-pick-part-of-community-charity-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.evcargo.com\/en\/litter-pick-part-of-community-charity-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Litter Pick Part Of Community &#038; Charity Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of EV Cargo Global Forwarding\u2019s Supply Chain Management team have been boosting both their mental health and their local environment.<\/p>\n<p>They organised and took part in a litter pick to coincide with World Earth Day.<\/p>\n<p>Account director Brian Riddell said: \u201cThis got all the members of the team out of their houses and away from the many Teams calls we have become used to in recent months, while cleaning up our local environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team have taken part in a number of charity activities to give something back to their communities and help their own mental wellbeing. They have raised more than \u00a36,000 for the foundation set up for former colleague Mark Edwards.<\/p>\n<p>Brian added: \u201cAs a director in Supply Chain Management I am only as good as the team I have around me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile my main role is driving efficiency and innovation in our customers\u2019 supply chains, the wellbeing of the team is a huge motivation for me.
