Children who may have gone without presents this Christmas will be assured of toys thanks to the efforts of staff at EV Cargo Global Forwarding’s Heathrow office.

Danielle Watson and Aaliyah Tariq challenged themselves to organise as many charity collections, events and fundraisers throughout the year as they could.

And for their latest fundraiser they decided to support the Christmas Present Appeal for Salvation Army.

They helped collect a huge number of toys that will be delivered in time for Christmas. Sleepwear, toiletries and other essentials were also collected to help the homeless.

Danielle said: “We felt that at this time of year the Christmas Present Appeal was a nice way to help give to the less fortunate around us. Everyone deserves to receive a gift at Christmas.

“We feel that it is important to give as much as we can, not just to our local community but for our chosen charities to help support them in any way that we can.”
