EV Cargo company Jigsaw, the UK leader in managed transport solutions, has joined forces with promotion-chasing Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
The season-long Platinum Executive Club sponsorship deal with the Baggies will see Jigsaw’s branding beamed to home crowds and TV audiences on big screens and pitch-side hoardings during matches at The Hawthorns ground.
Jigsaw will also be sponsoring star Brazilian winger Matheus Pereira for the duration of the season, as the club seeks to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2018. Last season West Brom finished fourth in the Championship but were pipped in the semi-finals of the play-offs.
Jigsaw’s managing director Andy Humpherson, an avid West Brom fan for over 40 years, says the partnership will benefit both the company and the club during this crucial campaign.
“As a proud Midlands company, we are delighted to support the Baggies as they endeavour to make their way back to the top flight of football,” he said. “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to promote the Jigsaw brand across a region soaked in logistics heritage and to a wider audience of millions.
“We have sponsored single matches before, but this is a long-term commitment which we hope will boost the fortunes of the team on the pitch and deliver wider exposure for Jigsaw.”
The Hawthorns is less than 40 miles from Jigsaw’s National Operations Centre in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and the sponsorship package will enable the company to host corporate clients and customers on match day.
