This Infrastructure Engineer job is working within the IT Infrastructure team at EV Cargo. This is a full-time, permanent job.
Within this growing team, you will report to the IT Director (Infrastructure) and will be responsible for supporting the internal IT infrastructure including server hardware and operating systems, networking, telephony, and security across at all EV Cargo divisions. This is a key role for the business, and we need someone who has significant experience of working within a similar infrastructure. Working in this Infrastructure Engineer job, you will come into contact with colleagues on a regular basis and it is vital that you are able to manage these relationships professionally, while ensuring that the objectives and aims of the business are met.

It is essential that you have experience of managing networking devices, knowledge of networking principles including TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, switches, firewalls and VLAN configuration, knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and VMWare, experience of administering Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems including concepts such as Active Directory and Group Policy and an interest in bettering existing systems. Due to the nature of the role we are unable to consider applications from anyone who does not have experience of working in an infrastructure function.

Therefore it is essential that you conduct yourself in a professional manner and can ensure that you always ensure that EV Cargo is represented in the best possible way.
