What is the opportunity?

This Technical Support Analyst job is working within the IT team at EV Cargo UK in Burton-on-Trent. This is a full-time job.

Within this growing team, you will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for customer service for all support queries, incoming IT requests identifying priority and actions to be taken, as well as ensuring all support required is logged and documented. This is a key role for the business and we need someone who has significant experience of working with Windows 10 and Office 2013 onwards and providing excellent customer service. Working in this Technical Analyst / Support Analyst job, you will come into contact with customers, clients and colleagues on a regular basis and it is vital that you are able to manage these relationships professionally, while ensuring that the objectives and aims of the business are met.


  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Taking care of incoming IT requests and identifying the appropriate priority and action to be undertaken
  • Ensure that all support requires are adequately logged and documented
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
  • Hardware and Software Support
  • In house application support

Due to the nature of the role we are unable to consider applications from anyone who does not have experience of Windows/Office.
