Quick Track

Governance

We are ethically responsible and active members of our local and global communities, seeking to do the right thing always. We strive to foster a culture of conduct where business activities are conducted with integrity and an effective governance structure is in place.

At a glance

At EV Cargo, we are committed to upholding the highest standard of ethical business conduct in all our global business activities, with policies in place that spell out decision making procedures and actions for all our executives and employees. To ensure all executive officers and employees are aware of these policies, a number of training sessions have been conducted on key compliance topics, some online and others face-to-face.

Anti-corruption

Employees have access to a hotline system as a safe avenue to raise, without the fear of reprisal, any improprieties or non-compliance with regulation or our policies. In 2021 we did not receive any confirmed incidents of corruption in relation to our employees or business partners.

Anti-competition

There have also been zero cases of legal action relating to anti-competitive behaviour, anti-trust and monopoly practices.

Data security

New cybersecurity defences are in place to defend against phishing and ransomware attacks, minimising the chances of a damaging cyber-attack. In 2021 EV Cargo did not receive any substantiated complaints concerning breaches of customer privacy.

Hazardous goods

Before engaging the services of any business partner, we assess their safety record and financial security. We do not contract with any company that does not meet our requirements and will disclose our own performance in our Sustainability Report.
