As EV Cargo implements its digitalisation strategy across the business, the EV Cargo global IT team has been busy providing support throughout all operating divisions and a number of new appointments have been made to help deliver the strategy.
Matthew Payne joins the global IT team as the IT Director for EV Cargo Logistics. Matthew joins at a very active period in the relentless drive for digitalised operations. The IT team at Logistics has been supporting the onboarding of new customers, new warehouse implementations and the flagship project to implement a new, global WMS. Matthew brings in valuable ecommerce and efulfillment experience into the IT team.
Sven Wallace joins us as the new IT Manager to EV Cargo Solutions. Solutions has ambitious plans for the future and technology plays a big part in that plan. Sven will play a key role in supporting Solutions’ growth. His background includes roles at blue chip supply chain and retail logistics organisations.
Chris Armstrong has joined the newly formed analytics team as a Data Analyst to work on the Horizon analytics project. Chris has worked in analytical roles in logistics and transport before.
Email Migration: as part of the ‘One EV Cargo’ strategy the team is in the process of moving all email addresses at Logistics, Solutions and Global Forwarding to @evcargo.com. This investment ensures that EV Cargo email addresses are consistent across all divisions and reflect the international nature of the business.
