Effective 1 January 2024, Paul Coutts will serve as CEO of EV Cargo Global Forwarding & Technology, with a focus on driving the growth, development and integration of these strategically important and related activities.

Paul joined EV Cargo in 2021 as Global COO. His 40+ years of industry experience includes serving as Group CEO of Singapore Post, Global CEO of Toll Global Forwarding, as well as other top leadership positions at major global logistics companies including DHL.

Global Forwarding is EV Cargo’s largest operating division with over 1,400 supply chain professionals and 65 locations in 26 countries worldwide. It comprises our global air and sea freight forwarding business as well as our European cross border road freight forwarding operations, and contract logistics activity primarily in continental Europe.

The division manages the movement of over 250,000 TEU of sea freight, 75,000 tonnes of air freight and 30,000 road freight jobs each year, connecting over 2,400 country pairs every month with its global services, and operates over a million square feet of warehousing space.

It provides technology enabled international supply chain management services for many of the world’s leading brands, as well as for thousands of small and medium sized enterprises worldwide.

Global Forwarding has grown its worldwide footprint and service coverage meaningfully in the last two years through both organic growth and the integration of key acquisitions, adding over 600 of our own people in 10 offices and 5 new countries in Europe, and 150 people in 10 offices and five new countries across Asia, including our substantially expanded logistics execution platform in China.

EV Cargo Technology develops and delivers the industry leading cloud-based international supply chain management software that powers the customer proposition for many of Global Forwarding’s largest accounts and underpins our strategically important PO Management and Global Customer Solutions services.

EV Flow (previously LIMA), the downstream logistics execution application, and EV Source, the upstream sourcing and supplier management application, combine seamlessly to provide our customers with unrivalled visibility and control of their international sourcing and supply chain operations. Leading retailers and consumer brands across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand use EV Flow and EV Source to manage their international orders and optimise their inventory flow.
