EV Cargo is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Tapper to CEO of Palletforce effective 1 January 2024. Mark is a founding executive of EV Cargo, who joined Palletforce in 2016, initially serving as Operations Director and was promoted to COO in 2021. In his new role, Mark will report directly into Heath Zarin, Chairman and CEO of EV Cargo, as well as Chairman of Palletforce.

EV Cargo Palletforce is a leading player in the UK pallet network sector and provides high quality LTL (less than truckload) road freight services to its members and direct customers in the UK, as well as to and from 27 countries in Europe.

Palletforce’s 120+ independent members are routinely the best operators in their local area and are passionately committed to the Palletforce brand and service proposition. Their depots make up the Palletforce network, and ensure it is able to serve every post code every day across the UK.

At the heart of the network, Palletforce’s best in class central sortation SuperHub at Burton has the capacity to handle over 30,000 pallets a night, all managed and tracked in real time by EV Alliance the sector-leading and in-house developed pallet network operating system.

We are also pleased to announce that David Breeze, currently Palletforce’s Network Development Director, will be promoted to serve as COO of Palletforce with an expanded remit. David joined Palletforce in 2016 having accumulated over 30 years of experience in the global logistics and parcels sectors, most recently as International Strategy and Projects Director for Royal Mail. Furthermore, Dave Holland as EVP Marketing and Communications will take on a more direct role driving our member relations and engagement strategy at Palletforce in addition to his current activities. Other members of the Palletforce leadership team continue to include Deb Wallbanks, Finance Director, Paul Dillon, Logistics Director (managing owned-depots), Kate Lovatt, IT Director, Simon Bradbury, Sales Director, Jo Duncan, Hub Operations Director, Simon Gibbard, Network Operations Director and Chris Dennigan, Member Recruitment Director.
