EV Cargo’s commitment to sustainability is structured around its pledge to a worldwide campaign to help deliver its environmental, social and corporate governance strategy.
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact framework, EV Cargo is committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the 10 principles of the framework. EV Cargo’s sustainability strategy is centred around building capacity and giving back to the communities in which we operate. Employees are also utilising the UNGC’s online learning academy, with subjects ranging from human rights to water conservation, affording them the ability to learn and grow both individually and support to EV Cargo in meeting its sustainability commitments.
As a signatory, EV Cargo will adopt frameworks for driving strategy and making its business more sustainable – and commit to reporting annually on how it is implementing the principles. In September 2022, the #TogetherForTheSDGs campaign is celebrating the anniversary of the SDGs and it’s arriving in the UK for the first time. EV Cargo will be supporting this event at a number of locations.

These sees us work to the 10 principles of the Global Compact and report on our progress of the principles that cover the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
Our workplaces create a safe and fair environment for all of our people to work and develop their careers and our policies ensure that all levels of our business understand the corporate and social responsibilities we have to shareholders, customers, employees and local communities.
Our sustainability commitment, targets and performance objectives are grouped under three pillars: People, Planet and Profit.
