At this stage, there have been no confirmed or material changes across global air and ocean freight networks. Airspace restrictions and routing constraints remain in place, port operations and vessel routing continue as previously advised, and carrier suspensions, phased resumptions, and capacity limitations remain unchanged. War-risk, conflict, and fuel-related surcharges also continue to apply across affected trade lanes.
Airlines, ocean carriers, port authorities, insurers, and regulators remain in a holding position while monitoring developments closely. Any easing of restrictions will depend on sustained regional stability, formal safety and insurance reassessments, and individual carrier decisions regarding network recovery and asset repositioning.
As a result, customers should continue to plan for extended lead times, ongoing schedule volatility, constrained capacity, elevated freight rates, and the potential for short-notice routing or service changes. We encourage customers to work closely with our teams to review all available routing and service options to maintain supply chain continuity wherever possible.
We would also like to remind customers of our courier service into the UK from China, the Far East, and the Indian Subcontinent, which continues to provide a reliable alternative in the current market, with typical transit times of between two and four days. This service is ideally suited to shipments under 200kg, although we are able to support larger consignments where required.
