The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • CPC Operator’s license
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, if required arrange repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure drivers comply with the drivers’ hours and working time rules.
  • Ensure that drivers are properly trained and competent to operate all relevant vehicles and equipment.
  • Managing recruitment, training and appraising of employees.
  • Managing of costs within budget.
  • Ensure that all required records are made properly and kept for the required period.
  • Load and unload outgoing and incoming pallets.
  • Ensure all machinery; mechanical handling equipment and safety devices are used in accordance with company procedure and Health & Safety training.
  • Ensure all safety checks on forklift trucks and batteries are carried out, with any defects reported to the warehouse supervisor.
