Following on from its debut webinar which detailed significant supply chain savings for Marks & Spencer, EV Cargo Technology will host a second webinar entitled Carton Labelling Webinar, highlighting the speed to sale benefits of its new carton labelling functionality and partner collaboration module.

Responding to demand from global retail clients, EV Cargo Technology’s carton labelling functionality is set to enhance efficiency and visibility for one of EV Cargo Technology’s existing clients, a leading British online fashion retailer. The key features and benefits, along with a new partner collaboration portal, will be demonstrated and outlined during the free-to-access online webinar.

Supporting the generation of packing lists, carton labels and advance shipping notices, the system simplifies at-origin formalities to decrease activity at destination.

Customers benefit from reduced touchpoints and handling at destination warehouses, improving distribution centre turnaround times by up to five days. Earlier visibility of inbound stock and enhanced accuracy also results in improved planning and quicker access to retail stock.

The partner collaboration module has also been developed in response to customer demand and allows retailers to easily share business documents, news and videos across their vendor community. Creating an efficient solution to distribute, track and monitor information the platform improves engagement and significantly reduces admin time.

Duncan Grewcock, EV Cargo Technology chief commercial officer, said: “Our carton labelling features functionality that will provide significant supply chain benefits for our global retail clients. Simplifying and speeding up activities at both origin and destination, it enhances stock visibility, planning and ultimately improves speed to sale.

“Partner collaboration and vendor communication can also be streamlined, creating time and people power efficiencies.

“The webinar is the ideal opportunity for interested online and traditional retailers to see a full demonstration of the features and learn how other retailers are benefitting – especially those who want to increase collaboration with their vendor base during these challenging times.”

The UK webinar will be held on 4th November 2020 at 9.30am and interested parties can register here.
