Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting the van before each shift to ensure it’s in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel purchases, and delivery details.
- Our van drivers transport goods to and from customers along designated routes.
- Obtaining signed proof of delivery and transit documents for all deliveries and collections made.
- Regular communication with route dispatchers is essential.
- Our drivers may assist with loading items at the warehouse.
- Using maps or GPS, they chart out the appropriate route.
- Being punctual for deliveries is crucial.
- Van drivers are expected to be reliable and trustworthy.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Full clean driving license
- Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
- Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
- Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
