Role Responsibilities:

• Complete the custom procedures with total accuracy ensuring that deadlines are met both internally and those defined by customs.
• Generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges.
• Obtain and communicate internally and externally all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.
• Manage customer issues and the ability to deal with minor issues, disputes, or complaints.
• Ensure documentation is UpToDate, loaded correctly and make your Team Leader or Manager aware of any issues that may arise.
• Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays.
• Attend customer meetings and identifying areas and services we can sell to our existing clients.
• Liaise with the UK importer all the way through to the delivery.
• Arrange delivery of shipments with our transport team.
• Assist with staff training, sharing knowledge within the team and continually improving processes.
• Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualifications. A Level 2 in English & Maths

Experience.  You will have previous experience in a Senior Coordinator role preferably in freight forwarding.  A dedication to provide excellent customer service, strong organisation skillset.  This role will be busy and require a strong eye for detail is required and will suit someone who has exceptional organisational skills.

You will have a good working knowledge and an understanding of:

CDS, CHIEF & Sequoia

Terms and endorsements of HAWB’s.

LIMA works and how SCM operate.

Home Use / SFD’s / Warehousing / Bonds / T1’s / NCTS, understand incoterms and associated freight rate calculations, profiles and rates.

Communication.  Show us that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.  Engage and communicate with audiences made up of a diverse background across all areas of EV Cargo.

Influence & Persuasion.  You will be able to look at different priorities and happy to manage those expectations and be confident to challenge and share ideas.

People & Self Development.  You will be highly organised have an excellent level of accuracy in checking and processing information with strong attention to detail, you will be able to adept at working with information from a variety of sources and come with a positive and flexible attitude.
