EV Cargo, a leading global transport and logistics services provider that manages supply chains for the world’s leading brands, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joost Greeve as Branch Manager of its Rotterdam operation.
Joost brings more than 20 years of international logistics experience, with particular expertise in freight forwarding, offshore and project logistics, heavy-lift operations, procurement, supply-chain transformation and operational improvement. Most recently, he served as Logistics Manager at GAC Netherlands and has previously held senior logistics and business-development roles with Blue Water Shipping, DHL Global Forwarding and Heerema Marine Contractors.
Earlier in his career, Joost worked with Rotterdam-based Oudkerk, managing international air, sea and road freight, warehousing and customs-clearance activities for major offshore customers.
Throughout his career, Joost has led complex logistics operations and multidisciplinary teams across Europe and Southeast Asia. His experience includes improving operational performance, developing customer relationships, negotiating with carriers and suppliers, implementing logistics technology and managing time-critical cargo for major industrial and offshore projects.
In his new role, Joost will assume responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Rotterdam branch. Working closely with colleagues across the Netherlands and EV Cargo’s wider global network, he will focus on delivering outstanding customer service, driving operational excellence, developing the branch’s people and supporting profitable growth.

Strategic Netherlands platform
The Netherlands is a strategically important market for EV Cargo. Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port, while Schiphol is one of Europe’s leading air-cargo gateways, giving EV Cargo direct access to critical global air and sea trade lanes and an effective platform for onward distribution across continental Europe.
EV Cargo currently employs approximately 260 colleagues across six Netherlands locations, including flagship sites near Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam port, as well as network coverage spanning Eindhoven and Maastricht.
Together, these operations provide customers with air and sea freight forwarding, European road freight, customs and compliance services, warehousing, order fulfilment, purchase-order management and integrated supply-chain solutions. EV Cargo’s Netherlands teams support major retail customers and specialist sectors including aerospace, automotive, marine engineering, pharmaceuticals, live animals, technology and telecommunications.
